Thanks, I've shot with other lenses on the A7 and it can be muuuch better. Kit lens is O.K. but lower f numbers are always better.

I don't pretend to know that much about lens construction, but there is a definite relationship between the quality of the bokeh (and the rest of the image for that matter) and the number of digits in the cost of the lens.
